Age check. When you first visit our website, we ask you to confirm that you are 18 or older. We store your answer in a functional cookie so we don’t ask again on every page. We do not ask for or store your date of birth.
Cookies. Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:
- Functional cookies — needed for the website to work, such as the age check, your cookie choice and the store locator. These do not require consent.
- Analytical cookies — to see how visitors use the site, such as which pages are visited. We use [analytics tool, to be confirmed]. Where possible we anonymise IP addresses and disable data sharing. We only place these cookies after you consent, unless they are configured to have little or no impact on your privacy.
- Marketing and social media cookies — e.g. the Meta Pixel or embedded Instagram/YouTube content, to measure campaigns and show relevant ads. We only place these after your consent.
You can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, and you can delete cookies in your browser settings. An overview of the cookies we use, their provider and retention period is available via the cookie settings.
4. Who we share your data with
We only share personal data where needed for the purposes in section 2. Service providers that process data on our behalf (processors) do so under a data processing agreement and only on our instructions.
We may also share data when we are legally required to, for example with the Dutch Tax Administration or the food-safety authority (NVWA) in the event of a product recall.
Outside the EEA. Some providers are located in or have access from the United States. We only allow this where there is an adequate level of protection, such as certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the EU standard contractual clauses.
5. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data no longer than needed for the purpose it was collected for, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
6. Security and minors
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access only for staff who need it, two-factor authentication and agreements with our processors. If you suspect misuse, please contact us at info@ikidrinks.com.
We sell alcoholic beer and do not want to collect data from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use our website or sign up for our newsletter. If we learn that we have received data from someone under 18, we will delete it.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- rectification of incorrect or incomplete data;
- erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”);
- restriction of processing;
- data portability — receiving your data in a common format, or having it sent to another party;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest, and always to direct marketing;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before.
To exercise your rights, email info@ikidrinks.com. We will respond within one month. To make sure the request comes from you, we may ask you to verify your identity; we will never ask for a copy of your passport or ID card with your photo and BSN visible.
