He Started as a classical ballet dancer at The National Ballet, until he went in love with vinyl! His first records where from Tjaikovski and Debussy and off he went to from Rednose district to Chris Lum.

The Rendez Vous: Costa Del Soul Bobbie opened the festival with a 3h house set.
Offschedule during fashion week: Bobbie was asked to spin the 1st edition in The Renaissance Hotel (koepelkerk) and also the 2th edition at Krasnapolsky in between the fashion shows of Bas Koster and Cup of Tee. www.offschedule.nl

Rishi’s Club for free Souls asked Bobbie to be their Resident DJ for all the events (Barcelona is following). On the Herengracht ‘Herengracht a/d Amstel’ was the first event with seminars and spiritual influences. Goal; Building a bridge between the going out scene and Spiritual world. www.rishis.nl
PussyCatDolls: Nokia booked the PussyCatDolls to come to Holland and I was booked to play as well. The objective was to let the 1700 people show how the NOKIA N91 series worked as a Music Phone. So I spun on two N91 telephones and decks, what made it more harder, because then it doesn’t matter how you mix, but what record you put on! Location: Escape Amsterdam.
Justin Timberlake: This Concert was in the Gelredome The Netherlands with 30.000 visitors and a after party where people won tickets for on MTV. Music: Brokenbeat, House, NuJazz, and Dance Classics, House. The night didn’t end right there but with an afterparty for the people of EMI and Universal in a villa in Belgium, before he had his concert in Belgium the next day.
Bollywood festival: DJ Bobbie organized the Bollywood festival in The Netherlands, where lots of famous dutch DJ’s spun there way to India! Music: Eclectic Indian influences in house, brokenbeat and classics
LowLands 2005: On the biggest festival of The Netherlands held in August DJ Bobbie was represented for NOKIA as: ‘gratis ringtone Dj’ . Besides the mainstream rocky atmosphere he brought his own flavours to the crowd. Three days DJ Bobbie spun in his own tent of 12m” round…
Lowlands 2006: MOCKY Dj Bobbie was asked by MOCKY (www.mockyrecordings.com ) to join him on his 2006 tour at Pukkelpop and Lowlands. At Lowlands he spun in front of the concert of MOCKY and joined some friends with there sets between concerts.
LabelExpo Brussel Fasson (Avery Dennison) 2003: He played on Fasson’s stand and closing party, where more then 1.000 people got a Michelin star meal served, with lounge music played on vinyl. During the week 10hr. sets on the stand and during the dinner a 5hr. set ending with the band Rose from United Records.
LabelExpo Brussel Fasson (Avery Dennison) 2005: This international Expo held in the prestigious dome in Brussels wanted Dj Bobbie Morel to spun records again. Same as 2 years ago he turned on the stand a lounge atmosphere with his choice of lounge, only this time he didn't spun more then 3hr. sets on the stand, and so it was only during happy hours. The end-party where over 2.000 people were flied in from Russia to The States all dinned on chill, danced on dance classics and where jumping on dance (electronic house music). This party held on the ‘Tour en Taxi’ was such a big success that it hit the newspapers the next morning...
Alpha 69 Communications 2001 – now Advertising gigs: Clubs, brand events, national and international… (No other DJ’s involved, resident DJ) Music: House (deep, soulful, funky, electro, Chicago, up-lifting, spacing, lounge…you name it!), Eclectic Rocky music with artistic spiritual influences.
Westergasterras 2004: now Club where he started every Friday on the terrace during the day, and end up lifting with the hands in the air (duration of spinning 10h sets)… Now closed for renovation, but giving illegal boat parties…Tropical Twisted (sponsored by Smirnoff Vodka) Music: Atmosphere Administrator (what I feel like!)
